Day 1: Introduction to Floristry Basics
Morning Session:

Introduction to Floral Design
- Understand the principles of floral design: balance, proportion, harmony, rhythm, and emphasis.
- Discussion on the importance of color theory and how it applies to floral arrangements.
- Introduction essential floristry tools and their usage

Sourcing & Prepping Flowers
- Discussion on how to source your flowers in London and the UK, select fresh and long-lasting blooms, and manage your budgets
- Understand the technique of conditioning the stems and work together on prepping the foliage before arranging
Afternoon Session:

Basic Floral Arrangements Workshop - Hand-tied Bouquets
- Learn how to create a hand-tied bouquet using the spiral technique and how to wrap a bouquet
- Hands-on: It’s your turn to experiment with different flower combinations and learn the basics of creating balanced compositions

Basic Floral Arranging Workshop - Vase Arranging
- Introduce and demonstrate different methods of arranging flowers in vase, how to create balanced compositions
- Hands-on: It’s your turn to give it a go and arrange you masterpiece in vases, and you can bring your creation home!
Day 2: Advanced Floral Techniques and Installations

- Introducing how to create an event proposal for your clients, what to include in your proposal and how to create a mood board to demonstrate your work
- Introducing different installation styles commonly used in events or weddings

- Demonstrate how to create a statement or centerpiece using different techniques

Event Floristry Workshop - Large Centerpiece Creation
- Participants design and create their own statement floral arrangements
- Work in teams to create a photo moment installation using a variety of flowers and foliage
Day 3: Wedding Flowers Mastery
Morning Session:

- Learn the theory of selecting the perfect flowers, foliage, and accents to achieve the desired aesthetic and complement the bride's wedding theme
- Showcasing the commonly requested floral arrangements at weddings

Intermediate Floral Arranging Workshop - Bridal Bouquets Making
- Explore a variety of popular bridal bouquet shapes, including cascading, round, hand-tied, and crescent
- Lead you through a step-by-step demonstration, showcasing the techniques and principles behind creating beautiful bridal bouquets including tightening the bouquet in ribbon
- Put your skills to the test with hands-on practice sessions, where you'll have the opportunity to create your bridal bouquet under the guidance of our instructors.
Afternoon Session:

Table Scape Design
- Learn how to create breathtaking floral centerpieces that serve as the focal point of the tablescape
- Master the art of table layout and composition, including the arrangement of tableware, linens, centerpieces, and place settings
- Explore a variety of decor elements and accessories, including candles, vases, napkin treatments, and personalized details. Learn how to incorporate these elements strategically to enhance the overall look and feel of the tables cape

Intermediate Floral Arranging Workshop - Table Scape Creating
- Put your newfound knowledge into practice with hands-on exercises and live demonstrations and create a beautiful wedding table design with centerpiece flowers, different vases and accessories
Day 4: Large Scale Floral Installation

- Learn how to minimize environmental impact by incorporating sustainable methods into your installations
- Explore innovative techniques for using eco-friendly materials and reducing waste, including the use of chicken wire as a versatile and reusable base for structural support

- Learn the principles of design for large-scale installations, including balance, proportion, and spatial awareness
- Discover strategies for planning and executing installations that enhance the architectural space and create immersive environments for events and venues
Afternoon Session:

Hands-On Floral Pillars / Wedding Arch Building:
- Roll up your sleeves and dive into a hands-on session where you'll work in teams to build a stunning flower pillar on-site.
- Put your creativity to the test as you collaborate with fellow participants to design and construct a large-scale installation using sustainable techniques and materials.

Closing Remarks and Q&A
- Take photographs with your finishing works ( & I’ll take photos for you and your creations!)
- Recap of key learnings from the course & open forum for participants to ask questions and seek further advice
* Lunch is not provided, we'll have an hour break for you to enjoy your lunch time.

For participants unable to attend and wish to reschedule, please notify us at least 7 days before the scheduled workshop date.
